We are currently preparing for a very special concert which will form part of the Canterbury Festival.  Based on the lives and work of Gilbert and Sullivan, Love, Grief and Joy at the Savoy will be performed on Sunday 17th October at the King's School Shirley Hall.  Tickets are £12 and can be purchased from the Box Office at Canterbury's Visitor Information Centre (01227 787787) or online through the Canterbury Festival site.

Our next musical will be Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods., which will be performed at the Gulbenkian Theatre from 22nd-26th March 2011.  If you are interested in performing in this show, please come to our meeting at 9pm on Friday 3rd September at All Saint's Hall, Military Road, Canterbury (next to the Royal Mail sorting office).  Auditions will be held from 2-5pm on Sunday 12th September.

Canterbury Operatic Society has been performing shows and concerts in the Canterbury area for over 100 years. Our 2009 production of The Pirates of Penzance and our 2010 production of The Pajama Game at the Gulbenkian Theatre were both awarded an Accolade of Excellence by NODA South East and we aim to build on this standard with each performance.
